Leadership
Will Klauber
Rector
Will grew up in Charleston and has a special appreciation for the unique cultural makeup of the Lowcountry. Having spent years doing youth and family ministry before being called to the priesthood, Will has a passion for reaching families with a saving knowledge of the Gospel. He also has a heart to see men and women equipped and raised up to be the spiritual leaders that God has called them to be in their homes, their workplaces, their neighborhoods, and throughout the wider community.

Will is married to Sara, and they have two children, Elizabeth and William, a Boykin Spaniel named Otter, and two guinea pigs. Otter frequently accompanies Will and loves treats. The whole family enjoys spending time at the beach, on the water, or in the woods regardless of the season.
Brenda Albinger
Director of Music
Brenda has been a church musician since the age of nine and has been leading people in worship ever since. She began her role at Good Shepherd in 2013 and is a vital member of not only our worship team, but as Ms. Music Brenda for our Day School where she leads weekly Chapel and music lessons.

Her most important job at Good Shepherd is leading people in worship, using music to help the congregation see Christ more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly. Brenda's philosophy of life is "If it's not fun, you're not doing it right!"
Evan Jackson
Youth Minister
Evan grew up in Summerville and from Clemson University (go Tigers!). He served on summer camp staff at Camp St. Christopher and Camp Jubilee, which deepened his love for youth ministry and enthusiasm for teaching the way of Jesus (to all ages!).
He is a big cat person, mainly because we share an appreciation of laser pointers.
Stephanie Adams
Parish Administrator
Stephanie joined the Good Shepherd staff in the fall of 2019. She has worn many administrative hats in her working life and is the point of contact for many of Good Shepherd's operations from communications, ministry and genealogy requests, facility use, weddings, funerals, and much more! She believes a to-do list is a gift from God and that even the smallest of actions can and will advance the Gospel. Stephanie is also our assistant coordinator for our thriving MOPS/MOMSNext group.

She is a voracious reader of all things historical and is married to Chris. Together they have one sparkly daughter, Aubrey, and a hound dog, Boone.
Denyse Steen
Day School Director
Denyse has been the Director of the Day School since 2011, having worked in children's and women's ministry for over two decades. She is grateful to God every day for the opportunity to be with the children and the teaching staff of the Day School, watching them grow in God's grace throughout the year!

Denyse is married to Billy, and they have two wonderful adult children, Blake and Maddie. In addition to her duties with the Day School and as a member of church staff, Denyse serves as a mentor and leader of women's studies.
Maddy Hunter
Children's Ministry Director
Maddy joined Good Shepherd as the Children's Ministry Director in 2021. She has been involved in Children's and Youth Ministries throughout the Diocese.

Maddy is married to Sam, and they have two daughters, Ella Ruth and Eden, and a cat named Cheeto. When not wrangling children at church, she can be found hanging out with her friends and enjoying the beach.
